Stemcor Flachstahl offers a wide range of flat steel products from plates to surface finished products, sheets, sections, wide flange beams as well as hollow sections.
History
In 2005 Schmolz+Bickenbach KG decided to focus their product portfolio on long products and high-grade steels. Consequently the flat products division, Schmolz & Bickenbach Flachstahl GmbH, and the Steel Service Center, Otto-Knauf GmbH (OKS) were sold to Stemcor. Stemcor Deutschland bought 100% of the shares in both companies with effect from 31 December 2006 and, on 1 July 2009, the transition became complete when the trading name Schmolz & Bickenbach Flachstahl GmbH was changed to Stemcor Flachstahl GmbH.
