Stemcor opens sales office in Norway

Stemcor, the world’s largest independent steel trader, has established a new sales office in Lillestrøm, Norway, to extend its activities in the Scandinavian market. This is in addition to the Group’s existing office in Lulea, Sweden (Uldry Steel SA).

Stemcor Norway AS will be run by Geir Lund, formerly Marketing Director at Nordic Intertrade. Via its international network of suppliers, Stemcor’s offices in Norway and Sweden will offer a range of products to the Scandinavian market including heavy plates, coils, reinforcing bars, merchant bars, engineering steels and stainless steels.
