Our special projects team draws upon the Group’s wide spectrum of services to develop investment proposals and joint venture partnerships. Projects can take various forms, including turnkey equipment supply, raising of new equity and offtake agreements.

Examples of recent projects undertaken are:

Georgian Manganese – Georgia

• $112m project to consolidate three industrial assets including a manganese ore mine, ferroalloy plant and hydro-power station.

Orinoco - Venezuela

• Arranged financing, purchase and resale of $360m of bonds, in return for an exclusive offtake agreement for HBI and commercial opportunities in respect of raw material supply/machinery purchase.
